Lovely Lilies lying about 

Strewn all over the floor 

Petals raining down on us 

Oh, good heavens, what could this be? 

I feel, in my heart, 

A newly found beat 

Thump, thump, thump, 

It wreaks havoc on my lungs 

Breathe, no I shan’t, 

For I simply cannot 

Who are you, mystery stranger, 

Why have you claimed me so? 

Seeming to be free, 

What an utter delusion, 

For you have me utterly chained, 

In your iron fist, 

Helpless, yes I confess 

To a many it would seem so 

But what is this feeling, 

That has me under its paw, 

But leaves me wanting more?
