All the others move on once they betray
Lamentable squeaks cue seekers of prey
Love’s cruel desire casts a shadow on fangs
So civil, this time I’m sure he’s changed!
A mind confounded by desperation
Will never lead to your salvation
Broken windows, shattered glass
To see with love, you’ll never last
Deafened by pain, blinded by lust
But hope remains, it always must
